CHARLES MAYMON

Senior Vice President of Ambulance Operations

Charles Maymon is our Senior Vice President of Ambulance Operations. Charles has forty-nine years of private sector ambulance experience and is versed in all aspects of delivery of private sector EMS Services. Charles leads the team that services throughout the State of Florida. 

JORGE CURBELO

Vice President of Ambulance Operations

Ensuring that the high quality and standards set forth by Counties and State regulatory agencies are applied to every aspect of day-to-day operations, Jorge Curbelo oversees all administrative tasks for all the operating entities throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Curbelo honed his skills in leadership and attention to detail over his tenure. Mr. Curbelo's expertise includes work as a Field Training Officer in a BLS division, and as a certified instructor in various EMS disciplines. Mr. Curbelo has previous experience in managing large contracts and numerous State of Florida Disaster deployments throughout the organizations and has dealt with all administrative and operational concerns pertaining to them. Above all, Mr. Curbelo believes that patient care is the top priority. Today, he is an asset to all the organizations and brings volumes of knowledge not only in the training and supervision of staff, but with years of excellent training credentials. 

KAREN ROBESON

General Manager

Karen arrived at Century Ambulance Service in 1999, working first as a paramedic before transferring to the Communication Center where she worked in every position within the department and held the title of Director of Communications before moving to Business Development. Throughout her career she has specialized in customer relations and management.

Prior to Century, Karen was a police and fire dispatcher and has been awarded for outstanding leadership within Century. Karen also received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Florida State College of Jacksonville.

 

Today, Karen is responsible for overseeing the 12 counties in which Century serves. 

ALICIA DYKES

Operations Manager

Alicia's journey in the field of Emergency Medical Services began 10 years ago as a Paramedic, where she demonstrated dedication and skill. With perseverance, Alicia advanced to various roles, including Field Training Officer and NICU Paramedic, which helped her hone her expertise and leadership abilities. After several years of service, Alicia was promoted to Recruiting/Training Coordinator and eventually took on the role of Human Resources Manager. Currently, she serves as the Operations Manager for Century Ambulance Service, bringing with her over a decade of experience, complemented by years in supervisory and managerial positions. This extensive background highlights Alicia's commitment and capability within the realm of Emergency Medical Services, showcasing her ability to lead and make significant contributions to her organization.
